PSP is a video game console manufactured and marketed by Sony. It is a handheld console that is the first of its kind to use an optical disc format. This format UMD (Universal Media Disk) is the primary storage medium. The PSP 3000, first released in October 2008, has an improved LCD screen when compared to its earlier avatars. It still has the same dimensions of its predecessor the PSP 2000. It is 2.81 high, 6.63 wide and 0.63 in depth, but is lighter at 200 grams (just over 7 oz.) along with its battery, game stick and memory stick.
